Biography

Christen Ansuini

Christen Ansuini’s practice involves assisting clients on a full range of family law issues. She has significant experience handling nuanced domestic relations matters and providing solutions for families in crisis. She advocates for holistic dispute resolutions and pragmatic approaches to ever-changing family and relationship dynamics.

Christen has extensive knowledge of Georgia’s temporary protective order (TPO) law and is well-versed in TPO proceedings, pleadings preparation and follow-up motions hearings. She has represented survivors of intimate partner abuse in a wide range of civil family matters.

Christen is particularly sensitive to the welfare of children in contentious divorce and complex custody cases. Christen has served as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and has a deep understanding of the objectivity and perspective needed to provide custody and visitation solutions in the best interests of the child. Her knowledge and insight enable her to effectively reach settlements in the most challenging of situations.

Christen earned her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. Christen was elected Class President and served as an active member of the Moot Court Board. Prior to law school, she received her Master of Education in Community Development Action, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt’s University’s Peabody College. Christen graduated from the University of Maryland, summa cum laude, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology. She achieved the highest GPA in her class and received the Peter P. Lejins Award for Academic Excellence.

Christen is an ardent supporter of several Atlanta community organizations. She lends her talents to the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, Dress for Success Atlanta and Forgotten Paws Pet Rescue. Christen serves on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Chapter of the University of Maryland Alumni Association.

Christen loves to dance, practice yoga, play golf and generally be outdoors. When not writing legal briefs, she is often crafting short stories and screenplays. Christen enjoys sharing time with her loved ones and rescue dogs. During the winter months, you can find Christen conducting “relationship research” by viewing Hallmark holiday movies. She looks forward to representing a Christmas tree farmer or secret royal in court one day.
