Biography
Teresa O. Reed | Office Manager
As Office Manager at Bloom Lines & Alexander LLC, Teresa Reed brings over 20 years of professional experience in Business Administration, Human Resources, and Corporate Accounting. She is responsible for the development and implementation of office policies and procedures. Teresa manages the administration of HR programs and practices within the firm, coordinates marketing efforts, maintains accounts payable and receivable, and administers monthly billing.
Prior to joining the firm, Teresa provided office administration leadership and paralegal services in other family law firms as well as educational settings. She is a graduate of Georgia College and State University as a double major with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Legal Assistant Studies. Teresa has also completed the undergraduate piece of the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s bridge to Master of Accountancy program.

Maggie Jernigan | Paralegal
Maggie Jernigan has worked exclusively in family law for Bloom Lines Alexander, LLC since 2010. Maggie graduated from Georgia State University, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Philosophy. In 2009, she completed the Emory University Paralegal Certificate program.
Maggie uses her considerable multitasking skills and customer service experience to help families in transition by providing detailed support to the attorneys and her clients. From complex litigation cases to simple uncontested divorces, she is involved from beginning to end. Maggie assists clients by providing regular contact and updates, managing the discovery process, maintaining the case calendar and deadlines, and drafting pleadings and letters. She also maintains all document production and the client case file and is integral in preparing for mediations, late case evaluations, hearings, and trials.
A true native of Atlanta, Maggie enjoys reading, traveling, and she especially loves the vibrant local community and nightlife in her East Atlanta Village neighborhood.

Joy Clark | Paralegal
Joy Clark is a paralegal at Bloom Lines Alexander, working primarily for Kyla Lines. She has worked exclusively in family law since 2012 and joined our firm in January 2019.
Joy provides support to the attorneys and clients through scheduling, drafting of documents, maintaining files, and helping to prepare for mediations, hearings, and trials. She works hands-on with clients through every step of their case from the scheduling of their initial consultation through the conclusion of the case. She helps clients navigate this emotional and often overwhelming process with compassion and understanding while keeping them updated and informed.
Joy grew up in Nashville and briefly attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville until she realized that she didn’t actually bleed orange. In 2002, her love of 14 lane interstates drew her to Atlanta. She graduated from Georgia State University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in biology.
In her spare time, Joy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking and entertaining, and pairing the perfect costume with social events.

Gabrielle Weber | Receptionist
I love people! I am a high-spirited New Orleans native who loves to let the good times roll!
Providing the community with love, care and understanding is my life’s work. I like to use my creativity to motivate and inspire the people around me.
I have several professional certifications/licenses including holistic nutrition, yoga instructor, esthetician, esthetics instructor, and life coach. I especially love working with children.
I am experienced in the field of education, having taught both children and adults for the last 11 years. My background in early childhood education is Montessori exclusive, spending several years as a preschool teacher at both The Goddard School and The Alefbet Schools in Dunwoody, Georgia.
When I am not mentoring or chasing down toddlers, I enjoy the simple things in life. I love hiking, reading, art, theatre, travel, and spending time with close friends and family.
